Insurance Guidance

1. How to enroll in AHCCCS

Find guidance on applying for or renewing AHCCCS (Arizona's Medicaid program) here, or manage/renew an existing case through Health-e-Arizona Plus. AHCCCS provides free or low-cost health coverage for eligible children and families in Arizona, including KidsCare (Arizona's CHIP program) for kids in families who earn too much for AHCCCS but still need affordable coverage.

‍

2. How to renew your AHCCCS plan

Please refer to our guide here.

‍

‍

Find care in your county

Find your county below for therapy and psychiatry options near you. Almost every clinic listed offers both in-person and video appointments, so ask about telehealth if getting there is hard.
‍

A few things that apply everywhere:‍
• Every clinic listed takes AHCCCS, including the American Indian Health Program (AIHP). Most also take Medicare and commercial insurance, and offer sliding-scale or reduced fees if you are uninsured.

• When you call, say which AHCCCS plan you have and ask whether they are taking new patients. Plans and networks change.

• If your child needs more support than weekly therapy, see the AZ Higher Level of Care Referral Directory for intensive outpatient, day programs, and hospital care by county.
